Marco Sansovini is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on June 17, 1980 in Rome, Italy. Marco Sansovini, born 17 June 1980, is an Italian footballer who played his last match as a striker for the Serie D club San Nicolo Notaresco.

He left Pescara in late August 2007. Grosseto was promoted to third division group A in 2007-08 Serie B, while the team was relegated from Serie B. Sansovini once again won a spot in the starting eleven and converted 16 goals. Franco Lerda didn’t trust any of the other strikers and used forwards like Luis Maria Alfageme (half season), Nico De Lucia, and Nicola Falomi as his partner in Sansovini’s formation. Pescara, despite the rotation of the squad failed to collect the most goals and was not promoted by the aggregate result against Perugia or 1 point penalty.

Sansovini again found his shoes in 2010–11 Serie B with 11 goals. However Ganci and new signing Cristian Bucchi and Stefano Giacomelli all failed to score. Instead, winger Massimo Bonanni was the second goalscorer of the team with 5 goals only. Pescara finished in the mid-table (13th /22teams) with 16th goal scored and 9th least goal conceded.

Sansovini remained in the starting XI in 2011–12 Serie B. That season Zdeněk Zeman used 4–3–3 formation. That season, Sansovini played 41 rounds with 16 goals. Pescara also signed Juventus wonder-kid Ciro Immobile and Napoli rising star Lorenzo Insigne. The team had the most powerful goal scoring ability with 90 goals; Immobile was the league topscored with 28 goals, while Insigne had 18 goals and Sansovini was the third of the team.

Grosseto signed Sansovini in the middle of 2006. He was a member of the Tuscany club for a mixture of seasons. Sansovini did not had a place in 2006-07 Serie C1. He did not score in the second half of the season, until he went to Manfredonia.

Sansovini was born in Rome, the capital of Italy. He began his professional career at A.S. Roma. In 1998-99, he was loaned to Foggia’s Serie C1 team. He joined Andrea Giallombardo as a co-owner in a peppercorn deal worth 1 million Italian lire (about EUR516). In 2000-01 Serie C2, he only scored two goals. Roma surrendered the remaining 50% rights to Giallombardo as well as Sansovini’s registration rights in June 2001. Sansovini scored 8 goals in 2001-02 Serie C2. He switched to Serie C1 club Sassari Torres in 2002-03. He only scored one goal in the first half. He was then loaned to Tivoli, a fourth-tier soccer team in January 2003. Sansovini played only 9 games, but he averaged nearly 0.44 goals per match. In 2003-04 Serie C1, Sansovini was back in Sardegna. He played only 615 minutes and scored 2 goals in the entire season.

In mid-2004, Sansovini was transferred to Pro Sesto, the fourth-tier Italian soccer league. He was the 2004-05 Serie C2 Group A Champion and scored 7 goals. In 2005-06 Serie C1 he scored 11 goals. Sansovini had previously only 3 goals in Serie C1 with Torres. Pro Sesto had the second-lowest goal scoring record, and no player scored in the “play-out” for relegation. All of his striking partners failed to score. (Marcos de Paula scored 4 goals in the half-season; Leandro Lezzaro scored twice and Claudio Salvi once). However, Pro Sesto was re-admitted to the Italian third-tier after a number of clubs were expelled from this division for different reasons. Sansovini was sold by Grosseto, despite remaining in Serie C1.

On 31 August 2009 he returned to Pescara in a definitive deal, in a 4-year contract for €600,000 transfer fee, rejoining former Grosseto coach Antonello Cuccureddu. Despite Sansovini was one of the starting forward with 26 starts, Sansovini only scored 4 times, only 1 more than his backup Francesco Zizzari and Mario Artistico (half-season). Another new signing Massimo Ganci scored 8 goals with lesser start and Samuele Olivi scored 4 goals as a defender. Both Sansovini and Ganci scored in the promotion playoffs of the third division and Pescara promoted.
