Pisano began his career with the youth team of S.S. Lazio. In January 2000, he joined Brescia in Serie B and was exchanged with Mauro coppini. In 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons, he was loaned to Serie C1 clubs. On 20 October 2002, he made his Serie A debut against Bologna.
In June 2006, Pisano participated in a 5-man swap deal with Palermo. Palermo signed Aimo Diana (EUR5M) and Pisano (4-year contracts). Sampdoria signed Massimo Bonneanni (50% for EUR2M), but left behind Pietro Accardi (50% for EUR1.5M) as well. Pisano replaced departed Fabio Grosso as left back.
On 2 August 2010, Pisano signed by Parma F.C. for free (at the same time Filipe Oliveira moved to Turin in a temporary deal for €600,000; Pisano’s transfer also cost Parma a small fee), but Pisano made just 5 league appearances as his chances at left-back were restricted by Luca Antonelli in the first half of the season and Massimo Gobbi in the second.
