Manandeep scored the first goal for East Bengal against Churchill Brothers in league competition in Margao (Goa) on 17/11/12. He also scored the second goal for East Bengal with a 3-0 win. This victory also placed East Bengal first in the I-League. Singh scored the second goal in league play against ONGC at Salt Lake Stadium on 24 November 2012. East Bengal won 5-0.
He made his debut in I-League on 22 November 2013 against Shillong Lajong at the Nehru Stadium as he played the whole match and earned a yellow card in the 84th minute as Rangdajied drew the match 1–1.
On 20 November 2013, despite earlier rejecting ISL signed players, Rangdajied United of the I-League agreed to sign Manandeep on as well as Subrata Pal, Sandesh Jhingan, Gouramangi Singh, and Tomba Singh.
Singh made his debut as an India senior on 23 February 2012 against Oman. He was a substitute for Sushil Kumar Singh in the 77th minute. India lost 2-1.

Singh has represented India at the U16 and U19 youth levels. Singh made his debut as an under-16 player against Sri Lanka’s under-16s in the 2008 AFC U-16 qualifiers. He also scored in the 46th minutes, helping India U16s win 6-0. His second goal was scored in the 47th minute against Lebanon, as India won 3-0. Singh scored his third goal for under-16s during the 2008 AFC U-16 Championship, which was against Indonesia on October 8, 2008. India won 1-0. Singh made his debut as a u19 player against Iraq on 5 November 2009. India U19 lost 5-0. On 23 June 2011, he made his debut as an under-23 player for India against Qatar U23. He was a substitute for Chinadorai Sabeeth in the 69th minute. India U23 lost the match 1-1, but won 4-2 overall.
Singh began his professional career with Pailan Arrows (then called Indian Arrows) in 2010. Singh only scored one goal while with Arrows. It was against Air India on March 13, 2011. Singh scored the equaliser for Arrows. Arrows won this match 5-2. After one season, Singh left Pailan Arrows and signed with Air India for the 2011-12 I-League Season. Singh’s first goal for Air India came on November 1, 2011 when he scored against Salgaocar a brace in the I-League match, which Air India won 3-1. Singh scored again for Air India in his match against Chirag United Kerala, on 6 November 2011. He scored from a penalty in 45 minutes as Air India won 2-1. Singh continued his excellent form for Air India, scoring another brace against HAL (on 20 November 2011), which helped Air India win a 4-2 victory. Singh ended 2011 with another brace against eventual champions Dempo, which Air India won by 2-0. This was surprising considering Air India had lost 14-0 to Dempo in the previous season. Singh had nine goals by the end of 2011. Singh didn’t score for Air India again until 26 March 2012, when he scored a brace against Mohun Bagan. Singh was awarded the Football Players Association of India Young player of the season for the 2012-13 season.
After the season ended Manandeep signed for East Bengal. He made his first- team debut for the club on 21 September 2012 against Sporting Goa in East Bengal’s first match of the 2012 Federation Cup by coming on as a 59th-minute substitute for Baljit Sahni. Then two days later Singh scored his first goal for East Bengal against ONGC after converting an 80th-minute penalty which won East Bengal the game 2–1. Singh then scored a brace for East Bengal on 25 September 2012 against Kalighat MS to send East Bengal to the semi-finals of the Federation Cup. East Bengal won the match 4–3. Singh then scored for East Bengal in the Final of the 2012 Federation Cup on 30 September 2012 scoring in the 100th minute to give East Bengal a 2–1; eventually East Bengal won the game and the tournament 3–2.
