He scored his first goal in his third appearance for the club, netting the winner in a 2–1 league win over Tondela. He ultimately scored twice in seventeen appearances but Chaves suffered relegation at the end of the campaign.

Singh signed with Braga, the Portuguese Primeira Liga side Braga after his contract expired with GAIS. He joined the LigaPro’s reserve team, which he also played with. On February 15, 2017, he scored his first goal, scoring the fifth in a 5-1 win over Vizela. He then scored 14 goals in 52 games over the following season.

Singh’s achievements at the Stars of Africa academy attracted the attention of many clubs, and in 2015 GAIS signed him. Singh started his GAIS career as a winger. He scored two goals in eight league games before his season was cut short by injury. In 2016, Singh was made a forward, scoring the first professional hat trick of his career in a 7-0 victory over Angelholm. The player revealed that Khan and Swansea had been in touch with him over a possible transfer. GAIS declined these advances in order to keep Singh on the contract. Singh refused a move to Serie A side Pescara in August 2012. South Africa lost the final to Zambia 2-1, despite Singh’s assist. Singh received the Golden Boot award at the end of the tournament for his five goals during the competition. South Africa’s U-20 Cup of Nations 2017 was his second appearance. He scored a hat trick against Cameroon in the nation’s first match. After scoring against Senegal, South Africa was eliminated in the semi- finals and lost to eventual champions Zambia. Singh’s four goals and two assists earned him the Golden Boot award as well as a place in the CAF Best XI. Singh was also named in South Africa’s 21-man squad to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea in May of the same year.

Following his impressive performances at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, Singh was called up by interim manager Owen Da Gama to the senior national team in March 2018 for friendlies against Guinea-Bissau and Angola. Though an unused substitute in South Africa’s 3–1 win over the former, he made his debut for the national team on 28 March against the latter, starting in a 0–0 draw. The following year he was named in Stuart Baxter’s provisional squad for the 2018 COSAFA Cup before taking part in the 2019 edition where he scored his first international goals, against Botswana and Uganda respectively.
