Argudo was raised in New York City. He attended Francis Lewis High School in Queens. After playing two collegiate seasons at Elon University, he transferred to Wake Forest University and played his final two seasons there. He was the national runner-up for the Demon Deacons in 2016. He was also a part of the Carolina Dynamo collegiate off-season. Argudo was drafted by Columbus Crew SC in the third round, 2018 MLS SuperDraft. He signed almost two months later. Argudo, who had two seasons with Crew, and his first professional goal, was selected by Inter Miami for the 2019 MLS Expansion Draft. He is a native of the United States and can also play for the Colombian and Ecuadorian national teams due to his maternal heritage.
Initially, Argudo was not selected to take part in the 2018 MLS Combine; however, he was added to the Combine roster just two days before the event began after an injury to Drew Skundrich. On January 21, Columbus Crew SC drafted Argudo with the 67th overall pick of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. After taking part in the team’s preseason camp, he officially signed with Columbus on March 1. Argudo made his professional debut just two days later, replacing Pedro Santos in the 77th minute of a season-opening victory against Toronto FC, the defending MLS Cup champions. He missed three matches in April due to a MCL sprain but returned to the pitch on May 9 to earn his first start of the season in a victory over Philadelphia Union. Argudo went on to appear 21 times across all competitions in his rookie season, including two appearances in the 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs. The club picked up his contract option on December 9, 2018.
After being left unprotected by Columbus, Argudo was selected by Inter Miami with the seventh overall pick of the 2019 MLS Expansion Draft.
Argudo made his debut for the Demon Deacons in August 2016, when he was placed on the bench against Saint Louis. In his first Wake Forest start, he scored an assist against NC State and worked his way up to the starting line-up by September. Argudo scored his first goal in round two of the NCAA Tournament to help his team defeat Coastal Carolina 2-0. In 25 matches, he scored one goal as the Demon Deacons lost to Stanford in the national championship match. Argudo was a senior and had eight goals and six assists in 23 matches. Argudo scored five goals in the season’s four first games. He also scored the game- winning goal against Elon, on October 17, and converted during penalty shootout in ACC Tournament title game. After the season, Argudo was named to All-Atlantic Coast Conference’s Third Team. He finished his Wake Forest two- year tenure with nine goals in 48 games.

Argudo was the first to make his debut under Chris Little and Elon, on August 29, 2014. He started against Stetson at the John Rennie/Nike Classic. As a freshman, he appeared 18 times, starting 10 matches, and scoring a goal as well as an assist. On October 11, his first goal in college came with a 5-0 win over Northeastern. Argudo was a sophomore and appeared 21 times on an Elon team, which was Colonial Athletic Association coregular season champions.
