She competed in her first international competition at the 2007 World Rowing Junior Championships, Beijing, China. Her junior women’s quad-sculls team placed sixth. She competed in the junior four with the women’s quad sculls team and won gold at the 2008 World Rowing Junior Championships, Linz, Austria. For the 2009 season, she was promoted to the U23 team and competed alongside the U23 women’s quad sculls.
