Ragazzi and Hofer produced the 2008 autobiographical documentary Suddenly Last Winter (“Improvvisamente l’inverno scorso”), which dealt with the challenges of being a homosexual couple in Italy. It was shown at the Berlin International Film Festival 2008, where it won the Manfred Salzgeber jury prize. It won the Nastro D’argento (silver Ribbon) in 2009 for best documentary.
