Louis Briscoe is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on April 2, 1988 in Burton upon Trent, England, United Kingdom. Louis Andrew Briscoe, an English professional footballer, was born 2 April 1988. He plays for Gresley in the Midland League Premier Division. Although he plays primarily on the right-wing, he is also capable of playing as a striker and on the left wing.
Briscoe joined Leek Town, a non-league football club where he discovered regular football. In March 2008, he tried out for Houston Dynamo but was unsuccessful. After scoring 17 goals in 38 Northern Premier League Premier Division matches for Leek, he was forced to leave in 2008 when the club had been relegated. He played in a variety of Northern non-league teams, including Hednesford Town (in Division One South), Gresley Rovers, Stafford Rangers, and Ilkeston Town (in Premier Division).
He scored eight goals in 44 appearances in the 2012–13 campaign, as Mansfield won promotion into the Football League as Conference champions. He was rewarded with a new contract of an undisclosed length. After losing his first team place at Mansfield he joined Conference club Nuneaton Town on a one-month loan in October 2013. Having played only five competitive games in the 2013–14 campaign, Briscoe was released by manager Paul Cox in May 2014.
In November 2010 he signed a contract to keep him at Mansfield until May 2012. He played 13 goals in 42 league games in 2010–11, though his most telling contribution would be in the FA Trophy, where he booked the club a place in the Wembley final with an extra-time goal against Luton Town in the semi- finals. Despite creating numerous chances for his teammates in the final itself, opponents Darlington triumphed with a 1–0 victory. At the end of the campaign Briscoe was named in the Conference Team of the Year, and was made Mansfield Town’s Player of the Season. He scored a hat-trick in a 7–0 demolition of Barrow at Field Mill on 17 March 2012, completing his treble with a 25-yard volley. The “Stags” reached the play-offs in 2011–12, before losing to York City at the semi-final stage. Briscoe scored 11 goals in 40 games.
Briscoe was a player under David Holdsworth at Ilkeston. Holdsworth became the manager of Mansfield Town, November 2008. He offered Briscoe a chance to play full-time football. Briscoe signed with “Stags” in January 2009 and made his debut against Crawley Town on 17 January 2009. On 7 April, he scored his first goal against Ebbsfleet Unified. He was a good fit at the Conference Premier club and made 38 appearances in the 2009-10 campaign.

Briscoe was born in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. He began his career at Port Vale as a trainee. He made his first Football League appearance for Vale as a 17 year-old, in a 1-0 loss to Bristol City at Vale Park. He made three more League One appearances in 2005-06, and was named Youth Player of Year by Port Vale. He made his final appearance in League One, appearing on the bench for the 4-0 defeat to League Two Hereford United in FA Cup. In January 2007, Briscoe was released by Martin Foyle, his manager.
In 2005, he started his football career at Port Vale. However, he failed to make an impression and he moved to Leek Town in non-league two years later. After brief stints at Gresley Rovers and Ilkeston Towns, he was offered a move to Conference club Mansfield Town. He was a key player in the club’s FA Trophy final win and was named Conference Team of Year for 2010-11. In 2012-13, he won the Conference Premier title for Mansfield. In October 2013, he was loaned to Nuneaton Town, before he left Mansfield in May 2014. He signed for Torquay United in June 2014. In January 2016, he joined Wrexham, before moving to Tamworth five month later. On loan, he joined Boston United in March 2017 before making the permanent move to Stafford Rangers on June 2017. In January 2017, he moved to Boston United on loan, before moving permanently to Stafford Rangers in June 2017. In January 2020, he rejoined his former club Gresley.
While at Mansfield, Briscoe made his debut for England C, the team which represents England at non-league level. He scored in a 1–1 draw with Hungary Under-23’s on 15 September 2009.
