Crosby provided backing vocals for Bonnie Tyler’s albums Free Spirit (1995), and Wings (2006).

In November 2008, Crosby appeared at Newcastle City Hall with special guest Bonnie Tyler to launch her self-produced album entitled “Mrs Loud” The concert was later repeated in March 2011. In April 2009 she was also featured on The Justin Lee Collins Show and performed a duet with Justin, singing the Meat Loaf song “Dead Ringer for Love”. She also performed “I’d Do Anything for Love” with Tim Healy for Sunday for Sammy in 2012.
She met Stuart Emerson back in Newcastle when he was searching for a singer to join his band. They started writing together and became a married couple. Crosby sent Jim Steinman, a songwriter and producer, demos of Emerson’s songs in the early 1990s. Steinman invited them to meet him so that they could decide to move to New York. After Steinman moved to Los Angeles, they followed Steinman. Steinman was their manager and secured them a recording contract with Meat Loaf’s MCA label. Crosby was invited to perform the guide vocals of Meat Loaf while he was recording “I’d do Anything for Love (But Not That)” at Sunset Boulevard’s recording studios. The role was considered by Bonnie Tyler, Melissa Etheridge, and Cher. The song became a commercial hit and reached number one in 28 countries. Crosby had recorded Crosby’s part as a guide vocal, so she didn’t receive any payment. However, she does receive royalties from PRS and the credit “Mrs. Loud was also used on the album. Crosby was not featured in the Michael Bay-directed music clip, in which Dana Patrick sang her vocals. Meat Loaf promoted this single by having American singer Patti Russo perform the live female vocals for the song during his concerts and promotional appearances. Lorraine sang backing vocals and additional vocals on the songs Life Is a Lemon, I Want My Money Back, Objects in the Rear View Mirror may Appear Closer than they Are, and “Everything Louder than Everything Else.” All of these songs are part of the album Bat Out of Hell II. Back into Hell. These three songs were recorded under Lorraine’s real name, not Mrs. Loud.
