He is the son of Bob Stephenson and the younger brother of Shay Stephenson, who plays for the Norwegian hockeyteam Sparta Warriors. Stephenson’s cousin, Chandler Stephenson, won the Stanley Cup in 2018 with the Washington Capitals.
