Lisa Camille Willis, born June 13, 1984, is an American basketball coach. She is currently the assistant coach of the Westchester Knicks. She was a professional player in the WNBA, playing with the Los Angeles Sparks and New York Liberty. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, Willis entered the WNBA as the fifth overall draft pick to the Los Angeles Sparks in 2006. Willis was a Los Angeles Sparks player for her first and second seasons. However, her last two seasons were spent with the New York Liberty. In 2008, Willis led the WNBA’s three-pointers.

As a junior, Willis was voted UCLA’s 3point shot leader in 2005. She was also ranked sixth in the nation in steals. Willis also became the first Bruin to set back-to-back 100 steals seasons. Willis also tied her school record for made 3point shots. She was also selected for the 2005 USA Team, and won a silver medal in Izmir (Turkey).

Willis had a fun and exciting professional basketball career in Europe during the WNBA offseason. She played for teams in Vologda, Russia, Byron, Greece, Kayseri, Turkey and Riga, Latvia. Her last season of overseas basketball was played in Riga, Latvia where she won the Latvian Championship in 2010. Willis’ career came to an end when she tore her ACL, MCL, and LCL the same day she received a contract to go back to Kayseri, Turkey where she once played.

In November 2019, Willis was hired as an assistant coach to the Westchester Knicks.

Willis was part of the US team that represented the country at the 2005 World University Games Team, Izmir (Turkey). Willis averaged 9.7 point per game and helped the team to a 7-1 record. This resulted in the team winning a gold medal at this event. Willis’ efficiency was evident in Turkey where it was noticed that she was the leading scorer and top 3-point shooter, but not as many minutes. Willis was proud to represent the USA through basketball.
