After she was married in 2007, she attended the 2007 Ms. Olympia contest for their honeymoon. She was impressed to see female bodybuilders live. Lewis Breed, a former UK junior champion, oversees her training and preparation for the contest. She placed second behind Jennie Ellam in her first competition at NABBA England 2009. The 2009 NABBA Universe saw her compete, and she finished second to Larissa Cunha. Her most notable win was her first place at UKBFF British Championships where she won the Ladies Physique category. She announced on 19 March 2014 that she was awarded her IFBB Pro card. This means she can now compete as a professional.
Lisa was 16th at her first IFBB professional competition, the 2014 Tampa Pro. Alina Popa, her coach, became Lisa’s trainer and she began training at Armbrust PRO Gym. She won the 2015 Omaha Pro, which was the first ever overall professional female bodybuilder competition in Britain.
