Lionel Khoo is one of the most popular and richest Swimmer who was born on March 27, 1995 in Singapore, People's Republic of China. Born 27 March 1995, Lionel Khoo is a Singaporean swimmer. Khoo was awarded silver in the 200m breaststroke men’s race and gold in the 4 x 100 m medley relay at SEA Games 2015. He set a new national 200m butterfly record at the Fina/airweave Swimming World Cup in Singapore on October 2016. He finished fifth with a time of 2:11.80 and rewrote his previous record of 2:16.19 from the 2016 ASEAN University Games.

Khoo is a first-year student at Singapore Management University’s Lee Kong Chian School for Business. He represented the university in the 2016 ASEAN University Games, where he set a new PR of 2:06.19 for the 200m breaststroke.

Khoo holds the short course (25m) record for the 50, 100, and 200 m breaststrokes and the 4×100 m relay with Joseph Schooling and Quah Zheng Youn. He also broke the national records in the Long Course (50m), for the 100 and 200 metre breaststroke events. He also set the short course mixed relay national record with Rainer Ng and Tao Li. He holds eight national records as of December 2016.
