Miles, born August 28, 1978, is an American retired professional wrestler. She is also a manager. She was known as Shaniqua in World Wrestling Entertainment’s SmackDown! Between 2002 and 2004, she was a part of the Shaniqua brand. Jackie Gayda and she won the second season of WWE Tough Enough. She was awarded a one-year contract.
In June 2003, Miles was back on WWE television as a villain and the dominatrix manager for The Basham Brothers. She was a frequent interferer in matches, including one match where she had to intervene to help the Bashams beat two jobbers. Shaniqua established her dominance over weaker divas in the summer 2003. On the September 4th episode of Smackdown! she interfered in the Bourbon Street Bikini Contest, attacking all Divas except Sable. She then attacked Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson before pushing Nidia over the top of the rope. Then, she had a brief fight with her fellow SmackDown! Nidia, Dawn Marie, and Torrie Wilson were the divas. Dawn Marie challenged Shaniqua in a singles match one week after the Bourbon Street Bikini Contest. Shaniqua won after Wilson and Nidia interfered. Wilson struck Shaniqua with an iron chair. Nidia and Wilson were defeated by Shaniqua in a handicap match the following week. The villainous Shaniqua then attacked Dawn Marie, who was with Wilson and Nidia to the ring, by giving her a big boot and then hitting her head on the ring post. After the feud ended, Shaniqua was never seen again on television until the Oct. 2 episode of Smackdown! She interfered in a match between The APA, Bradshaw and Farooq, allowing The Basham Brothers to win. She was then nailed via Bradshaw with a “Clothesline from Hell” and put on a temporary suspension for several weeks. She returned to the No Mercy PPV, and was able to exact some vengeance on Bradshaw when she kicked him with a nightstick during their tag team match against The Bashams. Shaniqua received new breast implants upon her return. These were explained by storyline as permanent swelling due to the ‘Clothesline from Hell’ weeks prior. Shaniqua spent the next few days in The Bashams corner during Los Guerreros’ feud, interfering in matches every day.
In late 2003 and early 2004 Shaniqua and the Basham Brothers started a feud with then WWE Tag Team Champions Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi. Shaniqua was almost given the Stink Face move by Rikishi on weekly house shows between November 2003 – February 2004, but it wasn’t the right move. Shaniqua was part of her team when she took on Scotty Too Hotty at No Way Out and Rikishi in a handicap WWE Tag Team Championship match. Shaniqua’s team lost after she was pinched by Rikishi following a Banzai Drop. She was soon released from her contract and this marked her last appearance on televised television with WWE.
