Hogg was a huge hit once he arrived in Bath City. Hogg, despite a poor record in discipline, has been a huge asset to the Twerton Park side. He saw Bath City promoted to Conference South in his first season. His old club Weston- super-Mare noticed “the one who got away”, and put in a PS2,000 offer on New Year’s Eve 2008 for him as a midfielder. Adie Britton, Bath manager, rejected it.

After leaving Gloucester joined Mangotsfield United in 2014, briefly serving as caretaker manager in 2015. He left to join Yate in 2016, before returning to Mangotsfield.

Hogg decided to move to Bath City in 2006, dropping down one league. This surprised many. The clubs could not agree on a fee and an independent tribunal determined that Weston-super-Mare would pay a PS4000 fee for Hogg’s signature.
