Levi Garcia is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on November 20, 1997 in Santa Flora, Trinidad and Tobago. Garcia was born in Santa Flora, Trinidad and Tobago on 20 November 1997 to parents Carl and Judith. He is the son of three brothers (Daniel and Nathaniel) who played for different clubs and two sisters (Carla and Adanna), who also love football. The three brothers used to play football together for hours in their backyard when they were younger. Garcia owes his early influence on football to Daniel, his oldest brother. He encouraged Levi to be a better player and rented or ordered a taxi so that he could attend youth training and matches.
After replacing Brent Sam in their final match, he made his international debut as an under-17 player to help the Soca Warriors qualify for the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship. He made two consecutive starts during the continental tournament in a loss against Canada and a 2-0 victory against Costa Rica to reach the knockout round. The Soca Warriors were defeated by Panama 4-2 and fell just one win short of qualifying to the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2013.
In September 2014, Garcia represented the under-20 team in central midfield en route to winning the 2014 Caribbean Under-20 Championship and qualifying for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. Although he made four appearances during the CONCACAF Championship and impressed several European scouts, the Soca Warriors finished a disappointing fourth in their group with just one win and failed to qualify for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
In March 2014, Garcia signed his first professional contract with Central FC of the TT Pro League on a two-year agreement. However, prior to his first appearance for the club, he was discovered in September 2014 while playing for Trinidad and Tobago during qualification for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship by Dutch agent Humphry Nijman. After an initial struggle between Central and Nijman, the two parties came to an agreement through mediation involving the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association to allow Garcia a trial in the Netherlands.
Garcia was 14 years old when he enrolled at Shiva Boys’ Hindu College, Penal, Trinidad. He also enrolled in T&TEC’s youth program. The Electricity Boys ended their football operations after just one season. This was due to financial difficulties. Garcia continued to play for Siparia Spurs, a local youth club, and Shiva Boys’ Hindu College over the next two seasons. Garcia was a striker for Shiva Boys in 2012 and helped them win the Secondary Schools Football League South Zone title. They were also qualified to compete for the FA Trophy. Garcia scored one goal in three competition appearances, helping the Shiva Boys advance in the competition. They lost to Central FC in quarterfinals.
