Leo Ezerins (born August 10 1956) was an experienced linebacker. He played 10 seasons with the Canadian Football League for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Ezerins is the current all-time interception leader of Canadian linebackers. He is also the fifth most popular player in All CFL linebackers. He was an integral part of the Tiger-Cats 1986 Grey Cup winning team. He took the first fumble in the game, which was caused by Grover Covington, setting the stage for an amazing defense against the popular Edmonton Eskimos. The following year the player was named as a CFL Eastern All Star.
