Leigh Bishop is one of the most popular and richest Photographer who was born on April 17, 1968 in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. The birthplace of the explorer was Northamptonshire, England in 1968 He started diving at twenty-one, and he made his mark on the scene of technical diving in its early years. Exploring mixed gas in deep wrecks in all of the British Isles since the beginning of the 1990s, his 1997 mission to locate the lost King Edward VII battleship from North Scotland became the first of its kind to look for wrecks of ships that go beyond 100 metres (330 feet) the depths of European waters. There was a lack of information regarding deep 35mm stills, he used photography to capture specific details to capture this HMHS Britannic 1998 expedition.

He has been a speaker in The NEC DIVE show several times, at conferences throughout Scotland as well as Wales, Warwick University, Imperial College London, Birmingham University and also at a variety of UK diving clubs. In February 2003, he had been invited to give a talk during the International Shipwreck Conference at Plymouth University and then later was invited to make his first appearance as an instructor at the European photography workshop ‘Visions of the Sea’ held at King’s College London.

On several visits in the vicinity of RMS Lusitania, he spent nearly 10 hours physically in the area of the ship, creating the largest collection of photographs of the wreck. He also captured the ship SS Transylvania, sunk in 135 meters/445 feet at sea level in north Atlantic. In 2001, along with fellow divers from the team of deep wrecks “Starfish Enterprise’, he snapped the first pictures of the gold-scarred shipwreck SS Egypt, sunk in deep waters off the coast of Biscay (Western Atlantic). Also in 2001 , he found the shipwreck of Captain Kurt Carlsen’s Flying Enterprise, lost in 1952. He continued to be an active photographer in missions, like the HMHS Britannic (Titanic’s partner vessel) in 1998 2003, 2006, and 2009.
