He became so amazed of the Exile group and particularly their singer Takahiro who was a vocalist, that he decided to change his plans. Since then, he’s wanted to be an experienced singer. With the help from his family and parents, as well as the determination to master the art of singing the piano, he enrolled in an ordinary college to a music academy later. The school then approached him for EXPG Osaka during an LDH seminar. He was then accepted as an EXPG Osaka scholarship student.

In October of 2018 the actor was the first actor to make his debut on his first role on the TV series Prince of Legend, playing the role of “Team Kyogoku Brothers'” prince Ryu Kyogoku. On February 14th on the 14th of February, 2019, he went to the PRINCE OF GENEND PREMIUM LIVE SHOW, which was a fan-meeting for the entire Prince of Legend cast, at Yokohama Arena. He performed “Take on Me”, an A-ha cover smash and an insert song from the show, along with Nobuyuki Suzuki, who was Kyogoku’s second Kyogoku brother. On the 7th of September, similar year Kawamura received a ticket to attend The 29th Tokyo Girls Collection (Autumn/Winter) at the Saitama Super Arena together with the entire characters of the film High & Low The Worst in which he is the lead character Fujio Hanaoka. It was the first time he’s attended any event that was fashion-related and walked on a runway in his professional career. After a few months his appearance, he also attended the 30th Tokyo Girls Collection (Spring/Summer) with the main cast of the film Kizoku Tanjou, Princess Of Legend.

In January of 2017, The Rampage from Exile Tribe released their debut single,”Lightning” as their first single “Lightning”.
