George Zvi Karl Tu’inukuafe (born 21 February 1993) is a New Zealand rugby union player who is currently playing in the Blues in Super Rugby, as well as for North Harbour in the Mitre 10 Cup. While Joe Moody returned from injury to play in this year’s All Blacks’ 2018 end-of-year tour, he suffered an injury yet again, suffering cuts to his eye, leaving Tu’inukuafe to be the first freehead for the remainder of the season. Tu’inukuafe was the first player to start against England who had not played for the All Blacks in four years and played an 57-minute amount of time to an All Blacks’ narrow 16-15 victory against England. In the next week, Tu’inukuafe began his game against Ireland which were the team that All Blacks lost to, 9-16. Tu’inukuafe was not surprisingly beaten by his opponent, Irish prop Tadhg Furlong The New Zealand front row playing only 46 minutes during the defeat to Ireland. He ended his year by replacing Ofa Tu’ungafasi in the final game of the year against Italy with the 66-3 victory.
After starting for the Chiefs in their Super Rugby quarter-final against the Hurricanes on 20 July 2018, the Super Rugby season ended for Tu’inukuafe, with the Chiefs losing 31-32. Following the match, it was announced that Tu’inukuafe had committed to New Zealand Rugby until 2021. Tu’inukuafe is scheduled to move to the Blues for the 2019 Super Rugby season as part of his three-year deal.
Tu’inukuafe was later selected for the All Blacks after Tim Perry was ruled out of the first two mid-year tests against France. Tu’inukuafe made his debut against France in their first June test match, which took place on 9 June

In 2018, Tu’inukuafe was nominated in award of the World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Award of the Year. Tu’inukuafe signed with the Super Rugby team named the Chiefs (rugby union) following a major injury issue in his preferred freehead prop.
