Kareem Reid (born on 27 August 1975) was an ex-point guard from the National Basketball Development League. He played in the NCAA basketball tournament as a member of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, and later played professionally in various leagues across Europe, the United States and Europe. Reid is an infamous streetballer in the Bronx as he plays in the Rucker Park league. There, the team won three champions in the Entertainers Ballers Classic from 2002-2004.

Following his departure of the Hornets, Reid signed with the Asheville Altitude, leading them to winning the NBDL championship during the 2003-04 season. Reid was averaging 12.0 scores per contest and was at third place in the league, with 6.7 assists per game. Reid joined with the Arkansas Rimrockers for their inaugural season in the American Basketball Association, leading the league with assists of 9.0 per game. Reid earned the title of league MVP, and also his Championship Game MVP in the Rimrockers winning the championship following during the season of 2004-05. Reid remained with the Rimrockers as the team moved to into the NBA Development League for the 2005-06 season. He was the top player in all league players in assist, with the average being 8.1 per match.

Reid was signed by the Albany Patroons of the Continental Basketball Association On February 23, 2007. Reid also played for the team while it was in the United States Basketball League.
