Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri (born 5 January 1958) is an Indian Judge and the former Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court. He also served as a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court and Gujarat High Court.
Jhaveri completed LL.B. and was admitted to the bar on the 20th of January, 1983. He began practicing in and was admitted to the Gujarat High Court. In 1983, he was an active participant in the Executive Committee of Gujarat High Court Advocates’ Association. He was elected The Joint Secretary for the Bar in 1984. He was a witness in the High Court on behalf of different statutory authorities that are part of both the Central and State Government. On 7 March 2004 Jhaveri was appointed Judge of the Gujarat High Court, he became a permanent Judge on the 22nd of June 2005. He was appointed into Rajasthan High Court on 24 August 2016, and was also the Executive Chairman of the Rajastha State Legal Service Authority. Justice Jhaveri was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court on 12 August 2018 following Justice Vineet Saran. Governor Ganeshi Lal took the oath of office and the secrecy of Justice Jhaveri at a ceremony held at the grounds of Orissa HC. Jhaveri was swearing into office as 30th chief justice of Orissa HC.
