Kaitlin Shea Sandeno (born 13 March 1983) is an American former competitive swimmer who is a former Olympic gold medalist as well as a world champion, and the former world record holder. Sandeno was part of the American team who set a new world record in the 4×200 meter freestyle relay in the 2004 Summer Olympics. She is currently the director for DC Trident which is a part of the International Swimming League.

After not qualifying for in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team, Sandeno announced her decision to step down. She is now looking to pursue a new job in the field of sports broadcasting. Since May, Sandeno has joined with Think Physical Therapy and started an enterprise named Swim Tank where she will perform the analysis of swimmers’ stroke. In this year’s Southern California swim season, Sandeno was an assistant swimmer instructor in Mater Dei High School which is a private catholic high school located in Santa Ana, California. When he was a high schooler, Sandeno attended El Toro High School in Lake Forest.

On April 25, 2015, Sandeno married Peter Hogan. The couple resides in Newport Beach, California.

At USA Swimming 2016 Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska; Sandeno served as the on-deck live emcee alongside Olympic teammate Brendan Hansen. She also hosted USA Swimming’s web-series debut of “Deck Pass Live”.

On September 28, 2008 Sandeno was a part of a team along with Anna Kournikova and Katya Myers to take home the female celebrity category at the 2009 Malibu Triathlon.
