Jun Kung, known as “the drummer” of Hong Kong is a skilled musician, singer and music producer. The year 1999 saw him contracted with “Universal Music Group” and released his debut EP Here & Now. The critically acclaimed singles “Shoe Size” and “Love Space” earned the first place in”Love Space,” the “Best New Artist” award at the Hong Kong Commercial Radio Music Award in 2000. In addition, he was awarded the “Voice of the 21st Century award” from Metro Radio. The original tracks “Here to Stay” and “Liang Xin Hua ” has been awarded “Best original film song” at the 31st and 30th Hong Kong Film Awards respectively . In 2013, he also won the “Best Rock Artist” award from the Chinese Music Media Awards.

He was born in Hong Kong, raised in Macau started the professional career of drumming at 14 years old. A proud member from the “DRUMMERS COLLECTIVE” in NYC. Studied under such great drummers like Kim Plainfield, Ian Froman & Daduka Fonseca. The summer of 1999 saw him he signed to a major label and dropped an album that was self-produced under the umbrella of Universal Music Group, which received numerous awards, including the Best Newcomer Award in 1999 . In 2001, he teamed up guitarist icon Paul Wong and formed the group HANN and released five albums under Universal Music Group. In 2007, he started his first ever global tour “The Year Of Jacky Cheung World Tour ’07” for the entire 105 shows across 60 cities. With numerous solo albums, many productions and more than 200 songs that have been released and he’ll continue touringrecording and producing for top performers who hail from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Greater China.
