In 2007 Jousse was promoted in his first Formula Renault 3.5 Series with the French Tech 1 Racing team. Jousse finished the season with a 10th overall finish and took home only one position on the pole, the fastest lap, and three podium finishes throughout the course of the season. It was a highly successful year for him and his teammate Portuguese driver Alvaro Parente, was the winner of the championship for drivers and Tech 1 Racing taking the Teams title.

Jousse raced in the Superleague Formula series in 2009 at the last two rounds of the season driving for A.S. Roma replacing ex-IndyCar Series driver Franck Perera. He got a podium in his debut race at the Monza round.

After taking part in off-season GP2 testing with Fisichella Motor Sport and Trident Racing, Jousse joined the newly revived FIA Formula Two Championship for the 2009 season, driving car number four. He finished fifth in standings with a win coming at Donington Park.

Jousse was a part of French Formula Renault for a third time in 2006, taking home the win as well as three more podiums to climb to third place in the standings at the end of. He also competed in two more Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 races, however he did not score points.

After a stint in karting from 1997 to 2001 Jousse started his circuit-racing career in the year 2002, in the Formula Ford Kent series. Through the 3 races that he raced, Jousse was able to secure three podiums, with one race victory. In 2003, he joined Formula Ford in the French Formula Ford series, getting a podium finish to finish the season with a 9th position. He also competed in the season’s final Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch and finished 17th.

In 2004, Jousse moved up to the French Formula Renault 2.0 championship in conjunction with Hexis Racing. In his first year, Jousse scored a podium to finish the season in 14th position. He continued to race in the race for the year 2005 before switching to the frontrunner SG Formula team. He scored three podiums and a win in his debut at Magny-Cours. This resulted in him finishing at 6th place in standings. He also competed of Six Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 races, scoring 12 points to reach 21st overall.

Jousse stayed with the team for a second season in 2008, where he was joined by fellow countyman and Formula Renault graduate Charles Pic. He finished as runner-up in the championship, behind Giedo van der Garde, after taking six podium places including his first series win in the final round at Barcelona. He also helped Tech 1 Racing secure their second consecutive Teams’ championship.
