Juande Ramos is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on September 25, 1954 in Pedro Muñoz, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Juan de la Cruz “Juande” Ramos Cano (born 25 September 1954) is a Spanish former manager and footballer who most recently was a manager at Malaga CF in La Liga.
On the 9th of December, 2008 Ramos took over as manager for Real Madrid. He was replaced by Bernd Schuster, who resigned from Madrid on mutual agreement. Ramos was appointed director of Real Madrid immediately before their UEFA Champions League match against Zenit St. Petersburg and the El Clasico match against FC Barcelona. Ramos was able to bring Real Madrid back to the race to win the Championship after they scored 52 points from 54 points in just 18 games in succession. After losing 2-6 to Barcelona two-to-six at Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid were defeated in four consecutive games leaving them nine points behind Barcelona. The contract he signed ended at the end of 2008-09 La Liga. His replacement was Manuel Pellegrini in June 2009.
On 26 October 2009, after just 47 days in charge, Ramos was relieved of his position at CSKA by mutual consent after a 3–1 defeat at Luzhniki by Russian Premier League rivals FC Moscow a day earlier, on 25 October 2009. This sacking came exactly two years after his appointment at Tottenham and 1-year and 1-day since his departure from White Hart Lane. Krylya Sovetov coach Leonid Slutsky was appointed as Ramos’ replacement.
On 10 September 2009, Ramos signed for CSKA Moscow until December 2009, replacing Brazilian manager Zico, who left for Olympiacos. Ramos said of the appointment: “I have come here to help the team in the Champions League. Our target is to advance from the group stage”.
Ramos stated that he had rejected the “dizzying” offer to become Tottenham Hotspur manager in August 2007 but he put an end to speculation about the future of his position at Sevilla after stating on September 7, 2007 he’d remain with Sevilla until the end in the current season. But the following season, following Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol’s dismissal on the 25th of October, 2007 Ramos was once again speculated to replace Jol. Ramos was dismissed as director of Sevilla on the 26th of October 2007 and was appointed Tottenham Hotspur manager the following day, signing a four-year contract that was reported to be worth PS6 million per year.

On the 18th of December, 2007 Spurs went towards The City of Manchester Stadium for their League Cup quarter-final against a Manchester City who up until the point of this match was undefeated in every home match in the league, but despite playing 10 men for over seventy minutes Ramos managed to secure a win of 2-0 for Tottenham. The result set the stage for the semi-final against North London rivals Arsenal. The first match played at Emirates Stadium ended with a 1-1 draw. However, the second leg in White Hart Lane saw Tottenham easily win 5-1. This was Tottenham’s first victory during the North London derby since 1999 and was the most significant victory for either team during the game since. It also meant that Tottenham were the first team to play at the recently reconstructed Wembley Stadium against Chelsea in their first cup final since 2002. Spurs played the match with a high-tempo play but they fell behind after an unintentional free-kick from Didier Drogba. However , a second-half penalty by Dimitar Berbatov sent the game into extra time, when Jonathan Woodgate scored the winner and gave Spurs the debut trophy for the club since 1999, and their qualification for 2008/09 UEFA Cup.
After a promising pre-season, the 2008–09 season saw Ramos lead Tottenham to their worst ever start to a league campaign, with the team placed bottom of the table after acquiring just two points from their opening eight matches. This eventually led to Ramos being sacked on 25 October, along with assistant manager Gus Poyet, first team coach Marcos Álvarez, and club sporting director Damien Comolli, less than 24 hours before the club’s next league game with Bolton Wanderers. Harry Redknapp was announced as Ramos’s immediate replacement. Tottenham went on to defeat Bolton 2–0 and register their first league win of the season.
