When he learned of his departure at West Bromwich Albion at the conclusion of the 2009-10 campaign, the club immediately issued an offer of contract to Labadie. On May 20, 2010 he signed a two-year deal with Tranmere. Since signing as a permanent player, Labadie was a first-team regular, but he was injured. and was dismissed for a violent incident during the 1-0 victory over Notts County on 20 November 2010. After having served a two-match suspension Labadie scored when he returned against Rochdale 1 January 2011, despite losing 3-2. But, in an 2-0 loss to Milton Keynes Dons on 15 January 2011, he was penalized on suspicion of “simulation” or diving in the first half. The manager Les Parry insisted that he did not commit a crime. However, Labadie scored again in a 2-1 defeat against Brentford on the 22nd of February, 2011. After having been suspended at two times, Labadie, nevertheless, played a 37 appearances he did and scored twice during his first season as a permanent player at the club.
On 9 July 2012, Labadie signed a one-year contract with Notts County.
In the 2011–12 season, Labadie started the season well when he scored two goals against Notts County and Sheffield United He then scored two goals against Stevenage and Bury. However, Labadie’s first team opportunities were soon limited.He was on the substitute bench with a foot injury. Despite this, he scored again on 24 March 2012, in a 2–0 win over Exeter City. After the match, Manager Ronnie Moore commented on Labadie’s performance: “Joss took his opportunity well.” After finishing his second season, making a total of 31 appearances and scoring five times in all competitions, Tranmere Rovers released him at the end of the 2011–12 season.
In the process of trying to be a part of his way into the Albion first team the Albion first team, he was placed on loan at League Two side Shrewsbury Town on the 1st of January, 2009. He was a part of Shrewsbury the next day in a league game with Bradford City at Valley Parade and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. He later broke his foot while training, and then returned to West Brom less than a week after having left the club. He was back at Shrewsbury on a one-month loan on the 3rd of August. He made his debut during the 2009-10 season with the 3-1 win over Burton Albion, during which the striker scored a free-kick at 30 yards. After being loaned out to January, Labadie scored on September 12, 2009 during a 2-0 win against Crewe Alexandra. After scoring three more scores at Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and Morecambe in which he was sent off during the match, Labadie returned to West Brom in November. Shrewsbury Manager Paul Simpson saying, “I’ve been disappointed with his recent attitude.”

The family was born in Croydon, Labadie began his football career with West Bromwich Albion He joined their academy in 2006 after being noticed in the playing field with Barking Abbey College of Sport and then being invited to an evaluation. In the 2007-08 campaign, Labadie played 19 games for Albion’s reserve teamand scored three times.
