Mora was not used by Saprissa for the remainder of the season, and was not employed until the end of December, when the club was in Costa Rica’s Olympic qualifying team. Mora was brought in from the bench during the opening leg to take over the role of Imperiale who was injured, and Saprissa went on to take home its 32nd title in the league. A knee injury early in the subsequent season to the regular right-back Francisco Calvo opened the door for Mora who was given seven starts by the manager Carlos Watson, who was his former manager in Uruguay. Mora was granted one more game for the remainder of the season, however the injury suffered by Calvo permitted Mora to play in the second phase against Alajuelense. The only issue was that Mora was issued his 5th yellow of the year during the first leg and was then suspended for the next leg after Saprissa quit the contest.
