Jorien Ter Mors (Dutch pronunciation: [jo:’rin “mors”), born on 21 November 1989) is a Dutch speed skater who competes on both the long track and short track. The Dutch athlete was Olympic champion in 1500 metres and team chase (long track) in the 2014 Winter Olympics and also the 1000m during the 2017 Winter Olympics.
In the year 2013, ter Mors is the proud owner of just one ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup win, which she won with the Dutch relay team that competed in 2012-13 in Dresden. She also has four podium places. Her highest World Cup ranking is 7th in the 1500 meters in 2013-14.
On 13 February 2014 she skated the B-finals in the 500 metres and placed sixth in the overall standings. On 15 February 2014 she became fourth at the 1,500 metres during the 2014 Winter Olympics.
At the 2018 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships ter Mors won her first world sprint championship gold medal. She previously won bronze in the 2016 and 2017 world sprint championships.
The Dutch Olympic trials, held between 26 and 30 December 2013 at Thialf, Heerenveen, she took part in the 1,500, 1000, and 3,000m, but was just qualified in the 1,500m, where she placed third just behind Ireen Wust, and Lotte Van Beek. On the 16th of February, 2014 she took home the Olympic Gold medal at the 1,500m race at the 2014 Winter Olympics. She created an all-new Olympic record for the event in a time of 1:53.51 which is the second-fastest time at sea at sea level.

Ter Mors was a participant at her first 2010 Winter Olympics for the Netherlands. She finished third in the first round of 500 meters and was disqualified from the initial round of the 1000 meters and was not able to progress.
