Jordan is the son of the former Winnipeg Blue Bomber running back Willard Reaves, who played for this team over five seasons. He was part of the 72nd Grey Cup winning team. Jordan has a younger sibling named Ryan Reaves, a professional hockey player, and right wing player for The Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League.

After being in the 2015 CFL season without being signed by any CFL squad, Reaves signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on January 29 of 2016. Although being listed as a defensive back, Reaves practiced as a defensive lineman throughout the training camp. After making his debut on the squad, he wore a uniform for his first game in the regular season on June 30 in 2016 as a backup defensive lineman. He was a part of five games with the Roughriders in 2016 and scored two special team tackles. He was let go during training camp in the following year on June 18, 2017. On May 20, 2018 the team re- signed him with Saskatchewan for the 2018 training camp.

Reaves received a contract from his home town Winnipeg Blue Bombers on April 9, 2015 after a workout in Winnipeg as well as at the Edmonton Regional Combine. He was a part of two preseason game as a wide-receiver. He had one catch that was six yards. Reaves was one of the team’s last cuts on June 20th, the 20th of June.

Jordan Reaves (born January 25 90, 1990) is an Canadian soccer defensive player with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Reaves initially played basketball for the Brandon Bobcats of Canadian Interuniversity Sport before switching to football.

Reaves was a player from 2010 to 2014 during The Brandon University Bobcats men’s basketball team.

In February 2008, Reaves was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, which he pleaded guilty to in December 2008, and received a conditional sentence, one year of supervised probation, and was not allowed to possess a weapon for 10-years. In 2016, Reaves was charged with one count of drug trafficking, but was set free on bail, after a routine traffic stop discovered cocaine in his possession. His trial in Winnipeg began in November 2017, where he pleaded his innocence. On January 24, 2018, he was acquitted of drug trafficking charges after the judge determined there was a lack of evidence.
