Joop Wijn is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on May 20, 1969 in Haarlem, Netherlands. Joannes Gerardus “Joop” Wijn (Dutch pronunciation: [‘jo:p’vein born on 20 May 1969) is a former Dutch politician in the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and a businessman.

Then, in July of 2002 Wijn made a move to the position of State Secretary in Economic Affairs within the previous Balkenende cabinet, which was responsible for trade with foreign countries. The second Balkenende cabinet, he was the State Secretary of Finance and was in addition, he was accountable for the operation and operation of the Internal Revenue Service. In his time, he transformed the IRS into an entity which not only collects, but also distributes the money, e.g. for healthcare costs as well as rent support and child support. His agenda was to reduce the burden of bureaucratic red tape as well as the promotion of tax-free benefits for families with children.

Wijn also became active in the public sector and occupied numerous seats as a nonprofit director on several boards of directors and supervisory boards (Orange Foundation, nl:Stadsherstel Amsterdam and the Jaarbeurs). Wijn also works as a trade association executive for the Industry and Employers confederation (VNO-NCW).

Wijn was elected a Member of the House of Representatives after the election in 1998. He was elected to his seat on the 19th of May, 1998. He served as the frontbencher, representative for Finances, Small business, Integration and the deputy representative for Economic Affairs and Postal Services. Following the 2002 election, Wijn was appointed as the State Secretary in charge of economic affairs for the Cabinet Balkenende I. He was appointed on the 22nd of July, 2002. Balkenende I was the Cabinet. Balkenende I came into effect just four months later, on 16 October 2002 following tensions within the coalition regarding its stability. Pim Fortuyn List (LPF) and continued to perform demissionary duties. Following the 2003 elections, Wijn was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, taking office on January 30, 2003. Following the formation of the Cabinet in 2003, Wijn was appointed State Secretary of Finance within the cabinet Balkenende II. Wijn was a student at an Gymnasium at Haarlem beginning in April of 1981 to May 1987.
