Joonas Tamm is one of the most popular and richest Estonian footballer who was born on February 2, 1992 in Viljandi, Viljandi County, Estonia. Joonas Tamm (born on February 2, 1992) is an Estonian professional footballer who is a center back with Desna Chernihiv, and the Estonia national team.
On the 27th of December, 2010 Tamm signed a contract for three years for a three-year period with Allsvenskan team IFK Norrkoping, with the possibility of extending the contract to another year. Then, in July of 2011, Tamm moved to Division 1 club IF Sylvia on loan. Tamm scored his first goal at the club on the 9th of July 2011, scoring the 2-1 win away against Motala AIF. Tamm made his debut in the Allsvenskan on August 25, 2011, scoring an 2-1 win at home over Djurgardens IF.
Tamm has represented Estonia at under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19, under-21 and under-23 levels. On 10 June 2011, Tamm was named by manager Tarmo Rüütli in the Estonia squad to face Chile and Uruguay in friendly matches. He made his debut for the senior national team on 19 June 2011, in a 0–4 away loss to Chile. Tamm scored his first international goals on 7 October 2017, when he found the net three times in the second half of a 6–0 away victory in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Gibraltar, becoming the first player to score a hat-trick for Estonia since 1996.
On 2 December 2013, Tamm signed a one-year contract with Division 1 club Trelleborgs FF.
Since February, Tamm made the move to Flora. Tamm scored his debut Meistriliiga goal on the 9th of May 2009, scoring the 4-0 win away against Tammeka.
