Jonquel Orthea Jones (born January 5 1994) is a Bosnian and Bahamian professional basketball player who plays for the Connecticut Sun of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Jones was selected as the 6th overall selection at the time of the 2016 WNBA Draft. In May 2019 she has also been granted her citizenship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, allowing her to play for the national team.

In the year 2018, Jones would have a diminished role on the team despite her achievements during the last season. On July 8, 2017 the Sun achieved a milestone as they made history by completing the greatest comeback in the history of their franchise after beating their opponents the Washington Mystics 96-92 after overcoming the deficit by 22 points. increased their record to 10-7.
