O’Connor and O’Dougherty both competed in O’Connor and O’Dougherty competed at one World Championships, finishing 19th in 2002. They also competed twice during the European Championships, finishing 16th in 2003 and 14th in the year 2005. They were awarded medals at a variety of internationals , including the Finlandia Trophy, Pavel Roman Memorial, Ondrej Nepela Memorial along with the Golden Spin of Zagreb – as well as a senior national championship. They were trained at Great Britain and France until they relocated to California to work together with Sergei Ponomarenko and Marina Klimova, Olympic gold medalists.
O’Connor and O’Dougherty retired from competitive skating in 2005. They appeared in the 2006 Australian TV show, Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice. O’Dougherty’s celebrity partner, Giaan Rooney, injured her ankle before the second episode.
The singer from 1999 was featured as a character in Robbie Williams’ music video for “She’s the One”.

Jonathon O’Dougherty (born 22 February 1978) is a Welsh professional ice dancer, who competed for Britain together with wife and partner, Pamela O’Connor.
O’Dougherty began skating at the age of twelve. He began as a solo skater. After switching to ice dance and competing, he was paired together with Tessa McGarry, his coach’s daughter. The year 1995 saw him formed a team with O’Connor. They took home Bronze during the British Junior ice dance championships in their first year of being together.
O’Connor and O’Dougherty moved to California in 2004, then moved to Minnesota in 2007, where they married. They moved back to California in 2009, where they continue to coach at Sharks Ice in San Jose, California.
