The team has been awarded five national championships including one together with Leopold in addition to four titles with Waterloo. He was awarded Belgian NHL player of the year during the period 2008-2009. For the season 2018-19 of the Euro Hockey League, Dohmen’s Waterloo Ducks became the first Belgian club to take home an award in the Euro Hockey League.

John-John Dominique Dohmen (born 24 January 1988) is a Belgian field hockey player who is a part of the Waterloo Ducks and the Belgium national team as a midfielder.
He competed in his debut Olympics in the Olympic Games in 2008 Summer Olympics and also the 2012. Summer Olympics. Dohmen was crowned European vice-champion for Belgium during 2013, the European Championship on the home field in Boom.
At the 2016 FIH Player of the Year Awards, the main awards given by the International Hockey Federation, Dohmen was crowned the 2016 FIH Player of the Year. He was previously nominated for the same award in 2013 and 2015.
