John Benjamin Broussard (born December 18th 1983) is an ex- American player and football receiver. He was selected to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played in the NCAA football tournament during his time at San Jose State.
Broussard was added to the practice team from the Chicago Bears on October 15 in 2008. After completing the season on the practice squad Broussard was signed to a contract for the future on December 29 the 29th of December, 2008.
The 9th of September, 2007, during the Jaguars first game of the regular season Broussard was the target of the first touchdown pass that he’s ever caught, a touchdown of 47 yards passing to his quarterback David Garrard. Broussard was released to the Jaguars on August 26, 2008.
