Bosman was born in Bovenkerk, Amstelveen, Bosman started his professional career with AFC Ajax, making his Eredivisie debut on the 20th November 1983, at 18. with a 5-2 victory at home over Roda JC, scoring in the game. Bosman ended his first year with four goals across 14 games.
