To celebrate the 80th birthday celebration of Arvo Part, in the month of November of 2015 the first recital of his piano Concerto was given by Soloist Ralph Van Raat accompanied by the Noord Nederlands Orkest conducted by Tonu Kaljuste. The day before opening, Franssens got the honor of ‘Het Gouden Vooltje’ (The Golden Violin). A prize aimed at outstanding musical talentthat was from the northern Dutch provinces and a successful international profile.
