The year 2002 was the first time Jurevicius was signed to a contract for four years by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an unrestricted free-agent. The 2002 NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles, he took the cross-field route that spanned 71 yards to the Eagles five-yard line. At Super Bowl XXXVII Jurevicius was the leading player for his team Buccaneers by receiving yards, with four catches totalling 78 yards.
