Jin began his professional soccer career in the year 2011 when the club promoted him into Chinese Super League side Dalian Shide. On the 9th of July in 2012, Jin made his debut in the team of Dalian Shide in a 1-0 home victory over Changchun Yatai, coming on as an alternative to Zhang Yaokun at the end of 80 minutes. He played in two league matches during the 2012 season. The year 2013 saw Jin was transferred to Dalian Aerbin following the Dalian Shide dissolved. On August 13, 2014 the player made his debut with Dalian Aerbin in the 2014 Chinese Super League against Guangzhou Evergrande.
In January of 2015, Jin transferred to fellow Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F. Jin was first introduced to Guangzhou on February 24, 2015 during the game in the 2015 AFC Champions League against Gamba Osaka, scoring the team winning 2-0 at home in which he was an replacement in place of Michel during the final minute of the game in the 88th. On April 3, 2015, Jin scored his debut and his second goal for Guangzhou in a home victory of 4-0 in a 4-0 win against Guizhou Renhe. But, he was given an exclusion of four games because he wiggled his finger during the game.
