In February of 2017 Jiang was transferred from Super League side Shandong Luneng Taishan. He made his debut with the club on the 9th of July 2017, with an away victory of 2-0 over Tianjin Teda. He did not make it to the top in the club, appearing in only three league games during the 2017 season.

After a successful campaign for the league team of Shenhua, Jiang was called to join the Chinese U-23 team, where Jiang was brought back together with his former manager Miroslav Blazevic. Jiang began his career in the form of a friendlies match on June 3rd, 2011 against his former team, the North Korean U-23 team in an 1-0 loss. Jiang was later part of the team who participated of the 2012 Olympic qualifying process which resulted in China being eliminated by China’s Oman U-23 side.

He scored his first goal of senior status on April 19th, 2011 in a game against Sydney FC in an AFC Champions League match that resulted in a loss of 3-2. The season progressed despite Shenhua having a new manager in Drazen Besek throughout the season, Jiang continued to see considerable playing time off the bench. He scored his first goal in league play on the 28th of September, 2011 in a match in a match against Hangzhou Greentown, which Shenhua beat by a score of 3-2.

Jiang moved to fellow Super League club Chongqing Dangdai Lifan on January 15, 2018.
