Jesse Litsch is one of the most popular and richest Baseball Player who was born on March 9, 1985 in Pinellas Park, Florida, United States. Jesse Allen Litsch (born March 9 1995) was an American former professional baseball player. After serving as a batboy with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Litsch was selected in the 24th inning of the draft by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2004 and was a player from 2007 until 2011 until his career was ended due to injuries. In March of 2016, Litsch became the pitching coach for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
The 14th of April, 2009 Litsch was placed on the 15-day DL due to a strain to the right forearm. On June 9th it was confirmed that Litsch was scheduled to have the season’s final Tommy John surgery. Litsch made his first major league debut since the surgery on June 13 in the Colorado Rockies. Litsch was unable to stand up to the Rockies when he returned from injury. He pitched only 2/3 of an inning and was able to allow 7 runs over 9 hits.
On October 10, 2012, the Blue Jays announced that Litsch was coming off the 60-day disabled list, but had chosen free agency over an assignment to their Triple-A affiliate Buffalo Bisons. In December 2012, it was reported that Litsch was awaiting bone-graft and cartilage replacement surgery from a donor cadaver, and his career was in serious jeopardy. The surgery was performed on January 17, 2013, and Litsch was reported to be hopeful to pitch winter ball in late 2013.
Litsch suffered a setback with his injured right shoulder early in 2012 training camp, and was shut down because of inflammation. He visited surgeon Dr. James Andrews for a full diagnosis that confirmed the inflammation and didn’t find any structural damage. Litsch received a platelet-rich plasmas (PRP) injection to help with the healing process. The injection caused an unexpected serious infection, and Litsch was not allowed to throw for six weeks after undergoing emergency surgery. The infection sidelined him for the entire 2012 season.
On the 24th of May of 2008, the exact day Litsch completed his debut complete- game shutout and complete, the pitcher beat Jimmy Key’s previous record of 38 consecutive innings with no walk a batter (Key’s previous record was 34/3 ). The 2008 season saw him pitched cutters 43.4 percent at times, which is the most efficient rate of any major league player.
