After the end of his college experience, Senglin participated for his first Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. After a solid performance at the tournament the team invited him to be a part of in the Brooklyn Nets’ Summer League team. On August 4 He signed with the Nets to a camp contract. On the 11th of October, he was dismissed by Brooklyn. He then joined the team of Brooklyn’s NBA G League team, the Long Island Nets. He played in 48 games, averaged 14.5 scores in addition to 2.6 assists per game. Senglin broke records for the Long Island franchise single-game scoring record on the 24th of January, 2018 when he scored 40 points in a game against his team, the Maine Red Claws.
