Redmore began making waves in the music scene of New Zealand in 2006 when he joined New Zealand rock band Midnight Youth. Their debut album that was platinum-selling The Brave Don’t Go was ranked 2nd on the RIANZ New Zealand Album Chart and also featured two top 20 gold-selling singles including The All On Our Own and “The Letter (Midnight Youth song)”. The group won their Best Rock Album award, Best Group Award and the The Best Engineer Award at the New Zealand Music Awards in 2009. New Zealand Music Awards as in addition to the Silver Scroll for the most-played song in 2009. In 2011 , they came out with their sophomore album World Comes Calling before Redmore decided to leave the band in pursuit of an independent career in the latter part of 2012. In November, Midnight Youth announced Redmore and the group will be performing one-off shows on the island of Auckland, New Zealand – the first time in more than seven years since they ended up breaking apart.

After more than five years with no any new material, Redmore announced via a series of mysterious videos posted on his Facebook and Twitter accounts that he was making a new album called The Brightest Flame from November 2019. It was made available in five distinct chapters spread over less than four months and tells the story of healing and heartbreak. The album, The Brightest Flame, came together as a complete album on the 20th of March, 2020, and was released on the label of Redmore’s own. This album received promotion through various creative marketing initiatives , such as a collaboration together with Museum of Broken Relationships in Dunedin as well as the “Unhappy Hour” event alongside Valentine’s Day in Auckland as and an initiative dubbed “Songs to your Steps” to assist those who are afflicted from the COVID-19 virus in Auckland.

Redmore released his self-produced. The album that he released as his debut solo effort, Clouds Are Alive, in July 2014 . The album climbed to sixth place at the top of the Official New Zealand Music Chart and was the inspiration for his smash hit track “Bad Philosophy”. The band released their debut album at the end of the month of April, Redmore performed as a support act for Ed Sheeran at his iHeartRadio concert in the Auckland’s ASB Theatre. The third track from the album, “One Day Alone” was released in conjunction with a music clip created by seven directors from around the globe. Prior to 2015 Redmore appeared at a range occasions at New Zealand celebrity weddings including weddings that of Mike Hosking, Dane Rumble and Angela Dotchin. Redmore was also featured on two tracks produced by hip-hop musician PNC (rapper)”Fame Kills All” and Fame Kills All as well as Lit Slow Down.
