Jeremy Eugene Bridges (born April 19th in 1980) is an former American football player. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played in the NCAA football tournament in Southern Mississippi. Bridges played as a part of the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins.

Bridges was detained just prior to the start of the training camps during the season 2007. He was is charged with misdemeanor assault, for being accused of shooting an unidentified woman in a strip-club parking space within Charlotte, North Carolina. After a hearing in November 2007 the jury found him guilty and handed 60 days of suspended sentence and one year of probation unsupervised and was ordered to pay a fine of $500 and complete 60 hours of work for the community. The Panthers suspended the player for two games due to the incident.

Bridges re-signed with the Cardinals on September 8, 2009. He played in all 48 regular-season games from 2009–11, starting 16. He injured his thumb in the 2012 preseason, and was placed on injured reserve. He was waived in November after reaching an injury settlement.

Bridges was signed by the Washington Redskins as a free agent on May 3, 2009. He was released during final cuts on September 5.

Bridges was taken from waivers by the Arizona Cardinals on September 6 2004, and made his first NFL debut on the 10th of October with the San Francisco 49ers. Bridges spent 2 seasons playing for the Cardinals.

Bridges was a graduate of 1998’s South Pike High School situated in Magnolia, Mississippi, where the team played football. He was named the Pike County, Mississippi Player of the Year in his senior year.

The restaurant manager alleges that Bridges then got into a verbal confrontation with another patron and then a physical confrontation with the bouncer, at which time the police were called. Bridges admits that he shook and opened the champagne bottle, but denies any physical confrontation. He was released on $2,500 bond. He was inactive for the Panthers’ game on December 8, 2008, but it is unclear if he will face any more punishment from either the Panthers or the NFL.
