Pasaia, Guipuzcoa, Spain, Jacinto is a graduate of the Conservatoire of Music of San Sebastian and a doctorate of Orchestral Conducting, as well as a composer for the Real High Conservatoire of Music of Madrid where he studied in the studios of Francisco Escudero and Anton Garcia Abril. He was a student of composition and Orchestral Conducting in the company of Franco Donatoni, Carmelo Bernaola, Cristobal Halffter, Gerard Grisey and Enrique Garcia Asensio.

Then, in April of 2002 his composition “The Great Garden” was presented by RTVE’s Orchestra at the Monumental Theatre of Madrid under Alvaro Albaiach’s direction and was later interpreted in The Royal (Real) Symphonic Orchestra of Seville under the direction from J.R. Encinar. In 2005, his work “Prelude and Don Quijote’s fantasy” for guitar was performed with M A Esther Guzman in the Festival of Music of Santander and afterwards in Tokyo, Japan. In February 2006, his operetta “Caronte”, with a libretto written by E. Santiago, scenery composed by Angel Haro and wardrobe by Paco Rabanne, was premiered by the Basque Country. In December 2006, he released his first symphony, titled “Brief”, with the RTVE Orchestra under the conduction of G. Pehlivanian in the Monumental Theatre of Madrid.

From 2001 until 2003, he was the conductor of from 2001 to 2003 the Symphonic Orchestra of the High Conservatoire of of Badajoz. From 2003 to 2004, he was the director in the band that was part of the municipality of the city of Badajoz.
