Jason Schuler (born February 24 1972) is an American former stock car racing driver. He competed in select races from 2000 until 2004 during the Busch Series. He currently builds cars in the name of JJ Fabrication, Inc. (formerly Pathfinder Chassis), the company that he owns and operates together with Joe Wood in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Schuler had the best races in the season in 2003 when Havill-Spoerl became a full-time team and Schuler made 27 appearances. The best race of his career (and his best career performance) was at Nashville in 2003, where he placed 13th. Schuler also added to his top twenty-one finishes during the races at Talladega in addition to Gateway. On Pikes Peak, Schuler led 11 laps with caution before dropping out of the race in 28th. Schuler was 28th in points, which was the best ever in NASCAR.

Schuler bought Pathfinder Chassis / JJ Motorsports Racing in 2005 along with Jon Wood based on Kenseth’s recommendation; they moved the race car manufacturing shop to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. In 2010, he was crew chief for Ross Kenseth and Ty Majeski.

Schuler ran just 5 times during 2002 and all in his Havill-Spoerl Racing team. The team failed to complete any of their races The best result for Schuler was 36th and 36th.

Schuler was the first to make his debut during his first race in the Busch Series in 2000 when fellow Cambridge native Matt Kenseth offered him a ride in his No. 17 Visine Chevy for 12 races. Kenseth as well as Schuler were friends from childhood. Schuler had a rough time, missing just one race and only scoring four top-20 results, which led to his demotion. Schuler’s best result of the season came in 14th place at Gateway (where he was the leader for two laps) and also at NHIS.
