Janine Szpara is one of the most popular and richest Soccer Player who was born on January 11, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Janine Marie, born January 11, 1967, is an American former soccer player who was also a coach. She played six games for the United States’ women’s national soccer team.

Later, Szpara began her coaching career. She holds a U.S. Soccer “A” license and focuses primarily on goalkeeper training. From 1989 to 1999, she was an assistant coach for the Stanford Cardinal and the California Golden Bears. She retired in 1992. She also started coaching Shiroki FC Serena while playing in Japan. She returned to the U.S. in 2000 to work as an assistant coach for the Cornell Big Red, Santa Clara Broncos, San Jose State Spartans, and Warner Pacific Knights. She was an assistant coach for the Portland State Vikings from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, she became the head coach of Portland Rain’s club team. From 2004 to 2006, she was also the Clackamas Cougars college team coach. Szpara was the head coach for the junior varsity and varsity teams at St. Mary’s Academy, Portland, Oregon. She was a youth soccer coach from Oregon, where she also worked from 2006 to 2017 as an Olympic Development Program coach in California. From 2002 to 2004, she was Cornell Youth Camp’s coordinator. She also worked as an assistant director at Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club and as a coach for various youth boys’ teams. She also served in various capacities at the Portland Spartans FC/FC Mulhouse Portland, and Portland Thorns Academy youth clubs.

In club soccer, Szpara played for Shiroki FC Serena and Takarazuka Bunnys Ladies SC in Japan from 1995 to 1999, and was selected to the league’s All- Star Team in 1998. She also played in the WPSL for the Norcal Shockwaves in 1997 and Foothill FC in 2001. She played for the Bay Area CyberRays during the 2001 WUSA season, replacing the injured Jen Mead, with the team ultimately winning the WUSA championship. She made one appearance for the CyberRays during the season.

Szpara, a San Jose native, attended Valley Christian High School. In 1989, she graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History.

Szpara was a college player for the Colorado College Tigers, where she played from 1985 to 1988.
