Jane Christina Flemming OAM, born 14 April 1965, is an Australian Olympic track and fields athlete. In 1982, she completed her HSC at Mater Christi College in Belgrave. She was the 1990 Commonwealth Games long jump and heptathlon champion and represented Australia at 100m hurdles.
She won 13 open titles at the Australian National Championships in heptathlon ((5)), 100 m hurdles (5/5), 100 m (2), and 100 m (1). In 1993, she was named Australian female athlete of year.
in 2013, Flemming helped Live Life Get Active, a private social initiative that offers free health, fitness and nutritional education online and in local parks around Australia with the help of local governments and corporations.

On 30 June 1986, Flemming provided a urine sample for Maurie Plant (Australian team manager) to enable Sue Howland to test Flemming’s urine. Jane Flemming was later warned by the Australian Senate Report into Drugs in Sport (known as “Black” after Senator John Black). Also, Maurie Plant was banned from managing future athletes.
She was a two-time Olympian and also competed in the 1986, 1990, and 1994 Commonwealth Games. At February 2016, her record score of 6695 points in the heptathlon, which she won the 1990 Commonwealth gold medal, is still the Australian and Commonwealth Games record.
