Jaffar Khan is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on March 10, 1981 in Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. Jaffar Khan (Urdu: جعفر خان ; born on March 10, 1981) is a Pakistani footballer. He is also the former captain of Pakistan national football team and Pakistan Army.
As is the case with most, if not all, Army players, Jaffar Khan is still in service with the Pakistan Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer and during the 2006-07 season was called up to service for UN peacekeeping operations in Sierra Leone. He returned to play competitive football in 2009.
He took Pakistan all the way to the final of the 2004 South Asian Games where they beat India 1-0 take Gold. After losing the league in 2004-05 season on the final day, he helped them win the league title the following year. In the 2006 South Asian Games he kept a clean sheet as Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in the finals.
